REMEMBERING THE LAYERS OF FOUNDATION

Oh this little 7 year old that i teach now !! What a lot of questions does she ask !! Why is route with 'ou' and root with 'oo' ? Why is the rainbow appearing before/after rain? Why do we put the seed inside mud ? How does plant come from inside? Why should we water it? Why is 1x2 "is" two and 2X2s "are" 4??

     Some qns of curiosity are definitely good ! But on the oder hand to tell her how to learn tables, how to differentiate a 'thing' from a 'work' ( As a basic to teach noun n verbs ) in a sentence and to finally change the definition of a thing as sumthing dat can be touched to sumthing that can be felt when it comes to abstract nouns, to tell why writing isn't a thing but work , how to add and where to put the carry , why you shud place the carry directly in the result when u reach the last digit of ur number, how to write hundred in numerals and how to count after 100 , how to write those numbers .................. and to make her remmbr all dese... O.H M.Y G.O.D !!! That definitely drains all my energy !! I bet I can teach a  12th grade kid easier than these below 10 years !!

    On teaching her each and every details in the basic... i wonder how did i learn all these !! Now i can write 100 as 10^2, 0.001 x 10^5 and also as 1100100 !! But who taught me how to write 100 in the beginning? Who gave me the difference between noun and a verb? Who made me learn tables !! I dun remmbr many !! All i have is the memory of the basics but not of those who put it into me !! Wonder how much of energy dey'd hav lost in teaching me dese !! 

     I guess i definitely shud rmmbr all dose who laid the foundation for me to build what i have now !! Thanking all of them !! :) 

A Disgusting Shame - Through and Forth

    What a shame......! 5 year old raped.. Is this all the magnitude of cruelty that a man can do?? Horrible to even think about it. But this isn't new! It's just the first huge thing that has come into light (as of now).

   When Damini's case blew up, I did not make any public posts or put up any status on it. Because it was just the one that got the spotlight among 1000s .. And any protest on it would cut no ice (As proved now).  All the talks about hanging, chemical castration is splendid but mind...this will never be implemented in India. How can a group of devils (call it politicians) give a chance to itself of such a dreadful punishment  ? ( If u know what i mean)

   But this incident needs a special attention. In a different way !
 
   This post might not ask men to stop being brutal. That's like shouting to a deaf. It's not to tell the government to take strict actions against such people. That's shouting to a person who refuses to hear ! This is about precautions that has to be taken . It's better to be safe than to preach the devils the Vedas.

   When i was young, around 8 years , my mom showed me a news which said about a small girl who was raped. She told me anything can happen to anyone asked me to keep away from all men that i talk to. I din know what rape meant. But i knew it would harm me. From then on I never let men touch me. Yes i was jus 8 ! But it helped me great ! I feel that's the kind of awareness every parent should bring in his/her child. Here's some tips (esp. to the mothers) ..

• If your child is around the age of 5 , she cannot understand what it means by physical harm. Whenever you let your child play outside make sure you keep an eye on her.
• Do not let your child play in your neighbor's house. Who knows which devil resides inside.  
• Once your child gets into school tell her about  human trafficking ( definitely in simple words) . Make sure your child is careful about her mode of transport and the people she confronts.
• Encourage your child to talk to you about all what she experiences. Let her not feel embarrassed to tell you.
• Once she gets into an age of 7 or 8 , tell her how ppl can be cruel to even kids . It would create a sense of safety (Experience). 
• Please understand that your child is never too young to know these all. Cos this world never thinks of them as children. Call a doll a girl and there would come 1000 stray dogs behind it. 

        Make sure you give your child more of safety than freedom. Your child may not be happy with ur frequent advices and restrictions. Fret not !! You know why you are doing it and your child wud definitely know in the future !

        Your girl is a gift constantly eyed by scavengers !! Keep her safe :)
