Oh this little 7 year old that i teach now !! What a lot of questions does she ask !! Why is route with 'ou' and root with 'oo' ? Why is the rainbow appearing before/after rain? Why do we put the seed inside mud ? How does plant come from inside? Why should we water it? Why is 1x2 "is" two and 2X2s "are" 4??
Some qns of curiosity are definitely good ! But on the oder hand to tell her how to learn tables, how to differentiate a 'thing' from a 'work' ( As a basic to teach noun n verbs ) in a sentence and to finally change the definition of a thing as sumthing dat can be touched to sumthing that can be felt when it comes to abstract nouns, to tell why writing isn't a thing but work , how to add and where to put the carry , why you shud place the carry directly in the result when u reach the last digit of ur number, how to write hundred in numerals and how to count after 100 , how to write those numbers .................. and to make her remmbr all dese... O.H M.Y G.O.D !!! That definitely drains all my energy !! I bet I can teach a 12th grade kid easier than these below 10 years !!
On teaching her each and every details in the basic... i wonder how did i learn all these !! Now i can write 100 as 10^2, 0.001 x 10^5 and also as 1100100 !! But who taught me how to write 100 in the beginning? Who gave me the difference between noun and a verb? Who made me learn tables !! I dun remmbr many !! All i have is the memory of the basics but not of those who put it into me !! Wonder how much of energy dey'd hav lost in teaching me dese !!
